A Master’s in Architecture taught me how to build the world; photography taught me how to witness it.

Based out of San Diego, California. My days are spent navigating the complexities of design and construction, but my perspective is permanently shaped by a Master’s in Architecture. For me, the two practices are inseparable: architecture is the study of how we build the world, and photography is the study of how that world is transformed by light.

While I continue to shape spaces in architectural practice, I use the camera to document their 'afterlife'—the way a 6:00 AM sunrise warms a concrete facade or how a building defines the silent character of a city block. I see structure and rhythm; I see scale, and the soul within the built environment."
